I really loved reading this book. The author has a highly developed sense of humor along with deep integrity and great intelligence, rare finds these days. I couldn't put the book down. When I stumbled upon Turning the Tables during one of my marathon browsings on Amazon, where I do so much shopping for books these days, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this book was written by a childhood friend who I always admired even at the ripe old age of 10, about the age I was acquainted with her (we were both about the same age). We had since lost touch but reading this book brought me back to a time when I much enjoyed the wit, humor and intelligence of the author that still shines so brightly today. Rock on! I highly recommend this book. I just bought the other one by Linda Hepworth I saw also, If These Tables Could Talk, and am about to read it next - these books are getting me through the cold New York winter. There is nothing like warm food and good humor mixed together in the right amounts - bravo !!!
