Easy to read info. Good chart for my kids learning metrics. Highly recommendedExcellent product and it is detailed in the product page.Comprehensive, durable & very suitable for placemat.I won't list all of the features of the periodic table since there is a picture of what is included on the chart, but I will highlight my favorite aspects which I think would be most informative to others. This gets 5 stars because of its durability, size, information organization, and usefulness. The size of the periodic table of elements is approximately the size of a dinner place mat. It's a perfect size in my opinion, because it is big enough to see everything clearly while not too cumbersome to handle. I reference this while typing and reading and I have no problem holding it up and setting it aside repeatedly. The periodic table is very laminated. I say 'very' because it feels like it's been laminated 5 times and there are no uneven corners or bubbles. I am not afraid of it peeling or spilling anything on this, simply because it feels so solid and well-constructed.*I just noticed that it says 'PAINLESS LEARNING PLACEMATS' in small print on the corner. The information is very well-organized. I cannot express in words how much this simple chart has helped me with my online chemistry course. I have to look at the table of elements constantly for group numbers and masses, and going back and forth between tabs on my browser was very time consuming and, quite frankly, irritating. This chart has saved me so much hassle, and I love the fact that everything is color coordinated. I know which groups are noble gasses, nonmetals, transition metals, ect... just based on the color.Truthfully, if I lost mine and the only replacement available was $30, I would purchase it without even thinking. That's how much use I have gotten out of this. But luckily for all of us, this chart--including shipping--is available for only $4!!If you're taking a chemistry course, this is a MUST. It will save you the hassle of flipping to the front of your chemistry book a million times or trying to make out the small letters on your computer screen.I normally don't rave about products this much, but everything I have said is genuine.5/5 LOVE IT!This is a nice Periodic table placemat. Size is reasonably big, quality is good . However the key to help your child to learn Periodic table is to make it as much 'fun' as possible.SOME TIPS:You don't have to be focused on grades to teach Periodic table. Kids of all ages , beginning even 2nd or 3rd grade can absorb concepts surrounding Periodic table elements ( who does not understand water). It is sad we teach our kids about dead presidents right from the beginning but periodic table way up after elementary school.1. Teach the kids just 10 Elements. Begin with simple ones like Hydrogen, Oxygen ( with Water as Example).2. Google for H2O Chemical Formula. See how nice the images are.3. Ask them to find what the oxygen we breath is made of4. Ask them about Photosynthesis and that takes them to learning Carbon (and Oxygen)5. Have them search for products on an IPad that has the elements in periodic table ( table salt > Sodium etc). Let them search in google and figure out.5. Repeat the same for next 5 products.SUMMARY:Let the kids enjoy learning about Periodic Table, This is one area that you do not have to wait for teachers to begin teaching. Leave the brute memorization to get better grades for later years.Since I brought up Presidents, Here is a nice product to learn about American Presidents as well Detailed Periodic Table of the Elements with two-sided detail so you can study for those Chemistry exams at the dinner table. Includes important element properties like boiling point, melting point and density as well as all the standard details such as atomic number and weight, electronic configuration and crystal structure. A great addition to your notebook sized chart so you can absorb Chemistry facts along with your nutrients! Sealed in thick protective lamination for easy cleaning and years of service.I ordered this for my 2nd grader because I thought it would help with his math assignments/learning about money. When it arrived, he was like "oh, I already know about counting money" and my heart sank because....$8 for a placemat? Surprise, surprise, it came in handy today after his currency lesson and homework that he couldn't figure out. Score! I like that there are built in equations using dry erase and I look forward to seeing if I can get him to do some extra homework. :)Note: I do wish they would have shown the backsides of the currency, which is also important (with a few design revisions, they could totally make this happen!)
